Today we received the answer from the county with regards to our application to use .40 and up for Dall IPSC Challenge. Our request was denied, and we were informed that we'd have put together an application which included information about the possible noise abatement solutions to bring the noise down to the level our ranges are currently approved at. Needless to say, there's no way this could be done in time for Challenge this year, and there's no guarantee our application would be granted even if we went ahead with it.

We're just as disappointed as you, but the max. calibre limit of .38/9mm will remain in place for Dall IPSC Challenge 2015.

The sharp-eyed among you may have noticed some sponsor logos appearing on our site. We're happy to announce Zero Mike Armory as our main sponsor together with Reload Swiss and SIG Sauer.

Among the benefits of this is that we'll be having a shoot-off for a prize gun. We had a "blast" with the shoot-off last year, and look forward to repeating it this year.

We've now done the first batch of competitor payment confirmation, and squadding has been unlocked for these lucky competitors, who have received a confirmation email with squadding info.

Since this is a manual process for us, we'll probably update once per week for the time being.

If you haven't paid, please review the payment deadline on our payment information page, and remember that you risk not being able to join your favourite squad ;)

At long last, here's an update on our plans for Dall IPSC Challenge in 2015. The match will be held in the last weekend of August, 29-30th of August.

With regards to the calibre situation, there's some good news. After spending a lot of time and money on environmental noise calculations, our hosting club has received a draft of a new set of range approvals from the county, and expect them to be finalized within the next couple of weeks. Due to noise levels, only 3 of our bays will be approved for .40 and .45 on a permanent basis. However, there's a possibility of applying for a exemption for a single match, and we intend to do so when the approvals are finalized. We can't be certain that the exemption will be granted, but hopefully the processing time will be brief. If our application is denied, the match will go ahead, but with the usual calibre restrictions. We're keeping our fingers crossed!

We will be opening signup on april 1st.
